Steamed prawns with minced meat recipe

This chinese recipe is very easy for you to follow.

Ingredients:
Prawn                   8
Shelled shrimps   100 gram
Minced pork         40 gram
Wonton skin         8
Asparagus            8

Marinade:
Salt      1/4 tablespoon
Wine    1 tablespoon

Seasonings:
Egg white        1
Salt                 1/4 tablespoon
Pepper           1/2 tablespoon
Wine               1 tablespoon
Sesame oil     1/2 tablespoon
Potato starch  1 tablespoon

Method:
1. Remove prawn heads, peel and leave the tails intact. Remove the veins. Cut  a slit at the back, remove the membrane. Add Marinade and set aside for a while.

2. Mince shelled shrimps, add minced minced pork and seasonings. Stir in the same direction until sticky.

3. Rinse asparagus and cut into sections.

4. Divide shrimp and meat paste into 8 portions and make them into oval shaped patties. Place on a greased steaming plate.

5. Top the patties first with a prawn each, then an asparagus. Lastly, cover with a wonton skin.

6. Bring water in the steamer to a boil. Steam prawns over high heat for 10 minutes.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time      : 10 minutes

To prevent the prawns from curling up when cooked, remove the white membrane at the stomach of the prawns with a knife. Stir the prawn paste in one direction so that it turns sticky and absorbs water better. This will make it more tender.
